About Wedding Videography & Films
Can we pick our own music?
Unfortunately, no, but I strongly believe this is a benefit. There are a few reasons why: legality of licensing music and creative purposes. I license all music used in my films, and most mainstream music is not available to be licensed.
Choosing the right music is also a huge part of my creative process, and it is often one of the most influential aspects of your film. During the planning process, I get a good feel for the musical style you’re drawn to, and use this as the inspiration to search for the perfect piece to accompany your film.
When should we expect our wedding film?
Vibe Visuals wants to make sure your finished product is exactly what you want, personalized and authentic, tailored to your personalities. You can expect your film to be edited and returned to you within 4 months after the final day of filming.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! All balances are split into 3 payments, the first acting as your retainer to officially get your date on our calendar.
When is our balance due?
60 days prior to the date of filming / your wedding date.
How much is the retainer to book you for our wedding?
All collections are split into 3 payments, the first payment of 33% of your total acts as your retainer.
Do you offer drone footage?
Yes! High definition drone footage can be added to any collection from the a la carte additions.
How are travel expenses handled?
Travel is built into all collections and is already included, so there are no hidden travel fees!
Why should I invest in wedding videography?
Your wedding film won’t be tangible, but it will be the single most impactful token to immediately bring you back to the experience you had on your wedding day.
Film captures subtle mannerisms, movement, the facial expressions that bring those memories to life, and the sweet sound of your loved one’s voices. Your wedding film is the living, breathing connection back to that day, providing you a timeless keepsake that you can show your family for generations to come.

Do I really need a wedding film if I’m getting photos taken?
You've got a strict budget that needs to divide itself between various vendors, leaving you in charge of prioritizing what will end up being most valuable after the day is over. You might chalk it up to "everyone will be taking videos/pictures on their phones," however, you'll likely end up with grainy, blurry content that is biased based on who's taking them, and you'll never get those dreamy shots that capture the depth of the way you really felt about your fiancé on your wedding day.
Videography/photography is the most common answer to "What do you wish you’d spent more money on?". 10 years from now, will you remember the manner in which you held your hands as you walked down the aisle? Will you be able to recall the sound of your grandparent’s sweet voices? The way your partner looked at you the night you solidified your love story?

Ethereal
The Vibe Visuals Ethereal collection was designed for those who want the most out of their wedding film/photo experience, but maybe without all the bells and whistles. You want a solid place to begin and a few extras that are important to you without all of the frills of the Enlightened.
Raw
The Raw collection includes the essentials to cover all the bases! This collection works best if your ceremony and reception are all in one place without any travel in between. This collection ensures that you can preserve and relive all of the best moments of your day that you can cherish and pass down for generations.

What does your process look like?
CONNECT & BOOK
You've had a chance to look through the details and you feel like we vibe? Let’s meet on a video call! We’ll chat about your plans, and make sure we’re the perfect fit. You’ll choose your package, sign a contract, and send your retainer (33% of total) to officially book your day.PROPOSAL & PLANNING
You'll receive a proposal so that you can sign the contract and pay the retainer, then you're officially on the calendar! We will keep in touch throughout the planning process so we can get to know each other, answer any questions you have, and provide any help needed.THE WEDDING
We show up, shoot, and hype you up all day! We will be there to laugh with you, cry during your vows, dance our pants off, and most importantly, make sure you slow down and take it all in.DELIVERY
Our typical turnaround time for film/photo is 4 months. We treat each film/photo gallery with intention and care based on your personalities and preferences. We want to create something unique to you, and will keep you updated throughout the process!
How would you describe your style?
Vibe Visuals’ style is a balance between timeless but modern, minimalist but warm, artistic but sophisticated. We like to summarize by saying we tell your story with elements of metaphor, magic, and fun!
How long are your wedding films?
This depends on the package you choose. We start with a minimum of a 3 minute, cinematic highlight film to ensure all of the bases are covered, and go up to an 8+ minute highlight film. We also offer things like a Keepsake Edit and Raw Footage to ensure you get exactly what you’re looking for!

YES, yes and YES! While we’re based in Portland, Oregon, we have a long travel bucket list and would love to help you plan the best locations for those dreamy mountain shots, ethereal beach sunsets, or soft and whimsical forest adventures. Where you go, we will follow :)
